DESCRIPTION:For those who love to listen to some of Australia's best ballad
 eers and bush poets\, Boondooma Homestead is the place to be in April 2023
 \n\n\n\nThe line up of Balladeers include Alice Benfer\, Anita Ree\, Ashle
 y Cook\, Ernie Constance\, Buddy Thompson\, Lynne Bennett\, Alisha Smith\,
  Caitlyn Jamieson\, Brian Letton\, Bec Hance\, Greg Bain\, John Smith\, Ke
 dron Taylor\, Kylie Hogan\, Peter Pratt\, The Voll Sisters.\n\nWhat a wond
 erful group of bush poets including Bill Kearns\, Harry Pickering\, Melani
 e Hall and Susie Carcary.\n\nThese artist will perform from Friday through
  until Sunday.\n\nA great group of walkups performing Australian content w
 ill take to the stage from Monday to Thursday.\n\n(Please note: The bookin
 g fee is additional to the admission fee)\n\nChildren under 15 years of ag
 e and under are free.\n\n\n\n\n\nWEDNESDAY EVENING: Join us for our sausag
 e sizzle fundraiser from 6pm with proceeds this year going LifeFlight.\n\n
 FIRES: Fires are allowed but must be in a container and placed above the g
 round. Ashes MUST BE PLACED IN THE ASH DRUMS LOCATED THROUGHOUT THE CAMPIN
 G AREA. If there is a total fire ban called\, no fires will be allowed. Pl
 ease do not allow smoke from your fire to annoy your neighbours.\n\nMENU N
 OTICES: Menu notices will be displayed outside the kitchen area and there 
 will be different menus on some days. CASH IS REQUIRED FOR ALL MEALS FROM 
 THE KITCHEN AND THE BAR.\n\nCAMP OVEN MEALS: Camp oven meals will be avail
 able on Friday and Saturday evenings. Tickets will be presold for Camp Ove
 n meals. Times of the ticket sales and camp oven meals times will be displ
 ayed and announced from the stage. Ticket holders are to line up at the ad
 vertised time as the meal will be served on time.\n\nWALK UP PERFORMERS: T
 hose wishing to perform on the Tuesday to Thursday must register their par
 ticipation by checking in with the Comperes upon arrival\, Clarrie Weller 
 &amp\; Brian Weier. They will be located behind the stage at the back of t
 he Big Top. Sound check will be on Monday with the possibly of walkup perf
 ormances. Tuesday - open mic after lunch. Wednesday - Australian Country M
 usic. Thursday - Traditional Australian Country Music. Walkup Bush Poets b
 reakfast Tuesday - Thursday.\n\nSaturday Walkup Competition - Conditions o
 f Entry \n\nEntrants must have performed twice on the stage at the current
  festival. Walk up artists are able to perform on (Monday)\, Tuesday\, Wed
 nesday and Thursday\, 25th and 27th April. Arrange times with Stage Manage
 r.\n\nWalk up artists wishing to take part in the competition need to fill
  out the the registration form backstage under the Big Top no later than b
 y 8.00 pm on Friday 28th April.\n\n 	Competition times will be announced d
 uring the festival.\n 	All material must be Australian country content\n 	
 Anyone who has performed at any festival and won the competition is consid
 ered ineligible\n 	Anyone who has performed for payment will be considered
  ineligible\n\nCHURCH SERVICE: The service will take place in the gardens 
 commencing at 8.00 am Sunday. The service will be conducted by Kedron Schn
 eider.\n\nPlease observe the “NO DOGS ALLOWED” and “NO SMOKING” si
 gns throughout the grounds.\n\n\n
