We have a growing collection of local objects and photos from the original settler families of this area.

Without the people we have no history. It is fascinating to gather the names and their connections to each other, along with snatches of their stories. This is an ongoing pursuit – like building a jigsaw puzzle, with the satisfaction of finding the missing piece and placing it where it fits to make sense of what is already known.

The original Boondooma Station was established in 1847 by brothers Alexander and Robert Lawson with a lease of land granted by the NSW government.
